Singing the bones

A dance performance directed by Marisa Grande

'Singing the bones' is a dance performance which is inspired in its core by text fragments of the book "Women who run with the Wolves", by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. The piece deals with the strength of the female life force and can be seen as a celebration of life. The dancing includes intense and confronting physicality, soft and sensual contact as well as playful and funny moments from which poetic and evocative images evolve.
